Safe Ports Parallel
Safe Ports acquired Parallel, Inc. in 2016 to expand our company’s core competencies in this fast growing commercial and government geospatial services industry. Our Safe Ports Parallel team is excited to provide on-site staffing support to business and municipal, state, federal, and foreign governments seeking to utilize remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, and applications for natural hazards, emergency response, and natural resource mapping activities. Parallel’s experience in the creation, updating, validation, and integration of vector and raster datasets is extensive. For example, Parallel worked in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) National Operations Center to develop digital cartographic products. We also provide vegetation characterization, forest health & management assessments, wildlife habitat sustainability evaluations, natural disaster response assessments and planning, Ecoregional assessments, cartographic mapping projects, and web-based imagery solutions. Parallel has supported the government with trained Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operators. Our geospatial professionals’ goal is to develop robust, reliable data sets that can assist in preventing, detecting, and responding to supra-national situations such as large scale refugee migrations or global panic-inducing disease outbreaks.
